Christmas movie night coming to the Albion Community Centre

There will be a movie night coming up at the Maple Ridge Community Centre, featuring a classic of the season.

The pre-teen and family movie night will be hosted by the city on Dec. 19 at 7 p.m.

The city is promoting this “safe, fun, and supervised event” as the perfect way for pre-teens aged 10 to 13 years, families, and friends to relax and enjoy a festive film together. Those outside the pre-teen age range are welcome to attend with family.

The movie playing will be Home Alone – the classic 1990 Christmas comedy starring Macaulay Culkin as an eight-year-old defending his home from a pair of bungling croooks.

Nothing says Christmas like seeing Joe Pesci have his hat set on fire.
