RCMP search for wanted man known to frequent Mission, Surrey and Maple Ridge

Police are searching for a 28-year-old man with outstanding charges known to frequent Mission, Maple Ridge, and Surrey.

According to a news release from Mission RCMP, William Frederick Beale removed his ankle monitor and left a recovery house in Surrey after he was granted a release order in a bail hearing.

The order required Beale to stay at the recovery house with the ankle monitor but he left days after his release and hasn’t been found since.

Police say he is wanted on multiple arrest warrants from throughout the Lower Mainland, including outstanding charges for assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police, possession of stolen property over $5,000, failing to comply with his conditions, and a charge of escape from custody from May 2025.

Mounties said Beale doesn’t have any criminal convictions.

While Beale is known to frequent Mission, Maple Ridge and Surrey, police say he could be elsewhere in the Lower Mainland as well.
