Help hospital in Maple Ridge pack the Patient Resource Cupboard

Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation is raising money for their Patient Resource Cupboard.

And, until Tuesday, Dec. 9, Toronto Dominion Bank will be matching all donations to a maximum of $5,000.

The Patient Resource Cupboard provides essential items like hygiene supplies, simple clothing, shoes, and other necessities to restore comfort and dignity to patients during their recovery.

There are five different donation levels.

Every $10 donation to the Hygiene Level will help provide basic hygiene items including toothpaste, a toothbrush, and soap and deodorant.

For $25 to the Toiletries Level, the basic hygiene items will be provided along with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Every $50 donation to the Comfort Level will include toiletries, in addition to socks, a sleep mask, ear plugs, and a phone charger.

The Dignity Level of $100, will cover everything in addition to clothing like jackets, sweatshirts, and shoes.

Finally, the Discharge Level is a donation of $300, and money will go towards funding the purchase of car seats, which are required for all parents when newborns are discharged.

“Let’s come together to ensure no one leaves the hospital without the basics they need,” said the foundation online.
