Garibaldi Secondary School is celebrating the holiday season with two upcoming concerts.
The first is the “Polar Express Band Concert” at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
This concert will include all of the bands in the Garibaldi music program – the Grade 8 Band, Grade 9 Junior Band, the Junior Jazz Band, Grade 10 Band, the Senior Jazz Band, and the Senior Concert Band.
The concert will finish with all of the bands coming together for a final massed band performance.
A concession will be open with Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, apple cider, musical Christmas ornaments, and key chains.
Admission is by donation.
The concert will be taking place in the Garibaldi Secondary School gym.
The second concert is called “Happy Holidays!” and takes place at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10.
Performing in this concert will be the Grade 10 Band, Senior Concert Band, Senior Jazz Band, and the Vocal Jazz Show Choir.
Again, admission is by donation.
This concert will be taking place in the Garibaldi Secondary School theatre.
