Santa’s elves battle it out in chaotic comedy bringing mayhem to Maple Ridge

Get into the holiday spirit with comedy and chaos at The ACT Arts Centre.

While Santa takes a well-earned year off in Palm Springs, the North Pole’s top elves battle it out in a chaotic, festive competition to earn the title of Head Joymaker.

The result is chaos and mayhem with the audience choosing the winner of the competition.

“Holiday Comedy Rumble: Every Elf For Themself” is a festive-themed, fast-paced improv comedy showdown featuring the best Canadian performers.

Billed as a “merry alternative to traditional holiday fare,” the show features award-winning Canadian comedians, outrageous characters, plenty of audience participation, and non-stop laughs.

The show is the creation of The Comedy Department, a special event and corporate custom comedy company established by performers Denise Jones and David Milchard, that also offers live shows in Vancouver.

“Holiday Comedy Rumble: Every Elf For Themself” takes place from 8-10 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at The ACT Arts Centre, 11944 Haney Place, Maple Ridge.

Tickets range from $24 to $42 plus fees, and the show runs 90 minutes plus a 20 minute intermission.

The age recommendation is 13 years or older.
