Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce executive team will be remaining the same for 2026.
The chamber announced on Wednesday, Nov. 19, that the board of directors has reaffirmed the current executive for another term.
Jerry Kok will remain in the role of president, Aaron Collins as vice president, Michael Zamprogno as Treasurer, and Danielle Janzen as secretary.
“The Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce has been on an incredible upward trajectory for the past few years,” said Kok.
“We have solidified our place as the voice of business in both Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows. Maintaining consistency at the executive level for another year, while also welcoming new voices to our board, allows us to achieve the right mix between continuity and fresh perspective,” he added.
Chamber of commerce CEO Kristi Maier expressed her appreciation for such a strong and supportive board.
Maier said a chamber couldn’t run properly without a board that is both collaborative and invested.
The 11 board members are from different sectors, from large to small businesses in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, and it is also gender balanced.
She said that although the board are volunteers, they treat the chamber as their second business.
“They care about the trajectory of this organization, and because of their dedication, we have grown faster than I ever imagined. I am so grateful to work with all of the board members. I wake up every day feeling lucky to be surrounded by really good people who care about this community,” said Maier, adding the chamber is well-positioned to deliver another impactful year.
