No one was injured after a shooting in Abbotsford on Tuesday morning (Nov. 18) related to extortion, police say.
According to a news release from the Abbotsford Police Department, officers responded to shots fired in the 2500 block of Janzen Street at roughly 3:43 a.m.
Two vehicles were found unoccupied in the driveway of a home hit by gunfire. Police say the residents were sleeping at the time and were unharmed.
APD said the incident was targeted and “related to an ongoing extortion investigation.”
