Dear Editor,
On the issue of needing to compromise on certain stands; I am not suggesting that we totally turn coat with certain evil doers on this planet.
But, I am suggesting that we use our influence in trade and other forums to build our relationships down the road – which can then lead to leveraging these other nations in their actions. A sort of trying-to-gently nudge them into our directions via our trade and warmer relations with them.
And, since the U.S. is trying to screw us royally with their recent efforts by sicko Trump, then we need to “stand strong” for Canada, and quit allowing ourselves to be bullied by him.
We’re not going to become the 51st state of his America, ever!
The world is changing forever, and we’d better pay attention to what’s transpiring.
