Ridge Meadows Seniors Society is calling all poets and musicians to be a part of a music jam and poetry slam.
Seniors who write poetry, or solo artists who sing or play an instrument are welcome to sign up for the afternoon open mic.
The talent show is open to anyone 55 years and older.
“This is your moment to shine,” said the society online, noting all skill levels are welcome.
“This is all about community and creative expression,” the society added.
The deadline to sign up is Sunday, April 15.

The event will be taking place from 2-3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 15, at the Maple Ridge Seniors Activity Centre, 12150 224 St, Maple Ridge.
