TransLink adding new seasonal bus route to Golden Ears Provincial Park

TransLink is adding new summer bus routes to regional parks this summer, including Golden Ears Provincial Park.

Starting June 13, a new summer route will serve Golden Ears Provincial Park on weekends and the holidays.

Bus 736 will run from Haney Place to Golden Ears Provincial Park every 30 minutes from 7 a.m. until the last bus at 8 p.m.

It will run the other way from the park back to Haney Place from 8 a.m. until the final bus leaving Golden Ears at 9 p.m.

The bus will pick up and drop off customers at Bus Bay 3 at Haney Place Exchange and at Alouette Lake South Beach.

In addition, new weekend and holiday routes will also serve Campbell Valley Regional Park, in addition to the extension of Route 181 to Belcarra, and increasing service on 14 more routes.

TransLink is also planning more seasonal service to places like Stanley Park, Spanish Banks, Mount Seymour, and White Pine Beach.

There will also be the return of the Bike Bus service between Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal and Bridgeport Station on on Fridays, weekends, and on holidays until Labour Day.

Extra SeaBus sailings will take place over the summer on Friday and Saturday nights.

And, TransLink will be launching more year-round service on two North Shore routes, improving access in West Vancouver and Lions Bay.

This is the largest bus service expansion since 2018, made possible through TransLink’s 2025 Investment Plan.

More service expansions are expected this fall.
