National Collective Convention debuting in Abbotsford next month

One of the biggest collectible shows to hit Abbotsford in decades is set to debut next month.

Bossa Productions has announced that the inaugural National Collective Convention will take over Tradex on March 28 and 29.

More than 600 vendors from all across North America are planning to showcase over 200,000 square feet of premium collectibles over the two-day show.

Items including Pokémon, sports cards, toys, video games and more will be available. Both buying and selling will be occurring, as well as special guests, giveaways and a special trade night.

Bossa has run similar shows at locations all across the Lower Mainland for years, but this will be the company’s first foray into the Abbotsford market. This year will also see the company host events in Burnaby, Coquitlam, Langley and Vancouver.

Abbotsford’s similar most recent show was the Fraser Valley Comic and Collectibles show, which ran in 2019 and 2022 at the Matsqui Hall. The collectible market locally also took a big hit when the Abbotsford Flea Market closed up shop in 2024.

Tradex did host an event called the Hockey Card Extravaganza in the summer of 1992. That show featured appearances by hockey stars like Eric Lindros and Bobby Hull. Tradex officially opened on July 28, 1991 and celebrates its 35 year of operation in 2026.
