UPDATE:
BC Wildfire has a new update for the size of a wildfire on Hamilton Hill (Quilchena Creek) near Merritt.
The wildfire on Hamilton Creek Indian Reserve No. 7 in the Lower Nicola Indian Band is now marked as 50-hectares according to BC Wildfire.
In a social meda post, Lower Nicola Indian Band said it is aware of the fire.
