Statistics Canada is hiring for the 2026 Census, and is hosting a jobs information session in Maple Ridge on April 8.
The session will be held at the WorkBC Centre from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Those attending can learn about paid enumerator (interviewer) and crew leader jobs in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows this spring and summer.
WorkBC says these roles offer competitive wages, flexible schedules, and the chance to support important national work in your community.
There are more than 60 enumerator positions, with 20 to 40 hours of work per week, from May to July. There are also crew leader opportunities with full‑time hours from April to July.
Those attending will learn about the roles available, jobs duties, work schedules, qualifications, and how to apply.
Students, adults seeking short-term work, community minded individuals and others should attend the session.
