Adam Sandler spotted in B.C. while filming movie

Adam Sandler was spotted in Hope, B.C. on Thursday (April 2) while filming a movie.

Some locals got a quick moment with the famous actor as he and his crew were filming Time Out with Willem Dafoe at Silver Creek Travel Centre.

“He was in town after wrapping up filming at one of our local locations, and a few lucky locals even grabbed selfies with him,” according to an April 3 social media post by Hope, Cascades and Canyons.

The tourism centre shared an image of Sandler posing for a selfie with a handful of Hope residents, including Yvonne Bobb and her daughter Summer Charlie.

“He truly is such a genuine human being,” Charlie stated in a post. “(It) was a fun experience for sure. Definitely one for the books.”

“He was very nice and we asked if he was cold and he said ‘yes,’” Bobb said with a laugh. “So grateful he came and took a selfie with us, it sure made our night.”

Sandler has been throughout B.C. filming the movie and Hope was just one of the locations.

“No surprise here!” Hope, Cascades and Canyons added.

Sandler was also recently spotted in Chilliwack, Squamish, Vancouver and other B.C. locations.
