Vancouver FC revealed its new home kit Thursday (April 2) for the 2026 Northern Super League Season, inspired by Burnaby Central Park, which surrounds the team’s home pitch.
“The After Dark kit design is rooted in the local community, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds Rise FC’s home stadium. The artwork features layered trees that evoke depth and movement, capturing the quiet energy of looking up through the trees at night and the feeling of being surrounded by nature,” noted a Rise FC press release.
The sunshine kit will remain Rise FC’s secondary kit for the 2026 season.
City of Burnaby Mayor Mike Hurley said, “It was incredible to see the passion and support for Vancouver Rise FC in their inaugural season at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby, and we’re excited for the team’s return for another season at this iconic and historic soccer venue. Our community takes great pride in our parks and greenspaces, and to see the Central Park imagery reflected in the Rise FC kits this year is something truly special for Burnaby.”
Vancouver Rise are part of Canada’s first professional women’s soccer league, the Northern Super League, which had its first season in 2025. The other clubs are Calgary Wild FC, Halifax Tides FC, Montréal Roses, Ottawa Rapid FC and AFC Toronto.
The Vancouver Rise FC kick off their second season with the first home match against AFC Toronto. The last time the two teams faced off was in the Northern Super League championship match, which Rise FC won 2-1.
