PHOTOS: Senior curlers bring skill, camaraderie to B.C. championship in Chilliwack

The Chilliwack Curling Club welcomed 40 teams from across the province as they hosted the 2026 B.C. Masters Combined Championship.

The event ran from March 28 to April 1 and included five divisions: men’s 60+, men’s 70+, women’s 60+, mixed 60+, and stick (a 60+ and open event).

Two teams were undefeated, including Chilliwack’s Team Klebe in the women’s division, and Team Boone/Barlow of Kamloops in the stick division.

The divisions were represented by eight zone qualifiers located throughout the Lower Mainland and the Interior of B.C.

The championship was a round-robin format with teams playing seven games each. Two points were awarded for a win, and one for a draw.

The B.C. Masters Combined Championship is a joint project of the Pacific Coast Masters Curling Association and the BC Interior Masters Curling Association. It was started to foster competitions for curlers aged 60 and older.
