John, mechanic and former race car driver passed away during the early hours of February 2, 2026 at Burnaby Hospital. John had been living at the George Derby Centre in Burnaby for the previous two years. Prior to that, John lived in Maple Ridge for a number of years after moving there from Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam.
