All Star Wrestling bringing HeavieMania 2 to Abbotsford

One of All Star Wrestling’s signature events debuts in Abbotsford on Saturday, April 4.

HeavieMania 2 is set for the Abbotsford Arts Centre and is the sequel to last year’s debut HeavieMania, which occurred in Cloverdale on March 8, 2025.

The show is being promoted as a takeover for the night by the West Coast Heavies group. ASW heavyweight champion Shawn Murphy, ASW tag team champions Todd Quality and Matt Bronson and manager Lance Skullz make up the collection of wrestlers. The WCH have experienced significant success in local wrestling over the past few years and have developed a strong following despite their sometimes questionable tactics.

The main event for HeavieMania 2 features Murphy putting his title on the line in a fatal four-way match against Miles Deville, Abbotsford’s The Mighty Lokomnbo and Steven Bradley.

Murphy, a Chilliwack resident, has held the ASW title since Nov. 2, 2024. Lokombo made headlines earlier this year after being invited to a WWE tryout. He is the brother of B.C. Lions alumni Bo Lokombo and 2025 Grey Cup champion Nelson Lokombo of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Quality and Bronson also defend the tag titles against Moral Panic (Red Yoshino and Tommy Chan) at HeavieMania 2. The duo are in their second reign as ASW tag team champions and regained the gold in Vancouver on Sept. 20, 2025. Quality, a 2008 Robert Bateman Secondary School grad, has been one of the most active local wrestlers this decade.

Another match with Abbotsford connections is former mayoral candidate Danni Deeds battling Jordie Taylor. Deeds made a surprise return at the Love is a Piledriver event in Abbotsford on Feb. 14 and attacked Taylor. Deeds most recently competed at a Big West Wrestling event in Surrey in February.

Other matches scheduled for HeavieMania 2 include:

• Anna Beretta vs. Brittnie Brooks

• The Thunder from Jalandhar vs. Machete

• The Artist Formerly Known as Rashad Tyson vs. S.A.D. Boy Denzel

• Big Rig vs. Nick Hayez for the ASW Hardcore title

• Team USA (Azeem the Dream and Christopher Ryseck) vs. The Hive (Battlewasp and Jitterbug)
