3 men charged following traffic stops in Maple Ridge, Surrey

Three men have been charged in connection with unrelated traffic stops in Maple Ridge and Surrey by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit of BC (CFSEU-BC).

Members of the CFSEU-BC uniform gang enforcement team (UGET) “conducted a traffic stop” on Chase William Flemming Hall on Nov. 26, 2025, in Surrey.

Hall was charged on Feb. 25 with possessing ammunition while prohibited, possessing another person’s identity document and fraudulently impersonating another person with the intent to avoid arrest. He is scheduled to appear in Surrey provincial court on March 12.

On Dec. 17, 2025, UGET officers attempted to stop Joshua Charles Lanksbury Redman in Maple Ridge. This incident led to his arrest.

Redman was charged on Feb. 26 with operating a vehicle while being pursued by police and failing to stop the vehicle, and operating “a conveyance in a manner that, having regard to all circumstances, was dangerous to the public.”

Court records online do not indicate when Redman’s first court appearance is scheduled.

Then, on Feb. 6 in Surrey, officers from the UGET stopped Gursevak Singh Nagra, who was “prohibited from driving” a vehicle. He was charged with driving a vehicle while knowing he was prohibited from driving.

Nagra’s first appearance in court is scheduled for March 19 at Surrey provincial court.

“Proactive enforcement by our Uniform Gang Enforcement Team continues to play a critical role in identifying criminal activity and holding offenders accountable,” said Sgt. Sarbjit K. Sangha, Media Relations Officer for CFSEU-BC. “These charges demonstrate the commitment of our officers to uncover serious offences that pose risks to public safety.”
