An electric scooter rider was taken to hospital after a collision on the Surrey-Langley border Wednesday night.
RCMP Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit members attended the crash, which happened around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 25) in the area of 196 Street and 60 Avenue, on the Surrey side.
The rider of the scooter was transported to an area hospital by BC Emergency Health Services with non-life-threatening injuries, Surrey Police Service said in an email.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and is cooperating with police; impairment and speed are not believed to be contributing factors in the collision.
The crash remains under investigation.
