Team Canada has its first gold medal at the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games.
Mikaël Kingsbury, of Deux-Montagnes, Que., topped the field Sunday in men’s dual moguls. It was his fifth career Olympic medal (two gold and three silver).

Canada now has nine medals (one gold, three silver and five bronze) so far at the Games.
Kingsbury beat Japan’s Ikuma Horishima in the final. Australia’s Matt Graham won bronze.
