April date for Diljit Dosanjh as BC Place concert dates multiply in 2026

Diljit Dosanjh’s 13-city “Aura” tour of North America will kick off Thursday, April 23 at BC Place Stadium, busy with several concerts this year.

The Punjabi superstar’s tour, promoted by Live Nation, marks Dosanjh’s return to the stage following his 2024 Dil-Luminati tour, which also stopped at the stadium in Vancouver.

Two years ago, Surrey six-year-old Aanakh Bhuller got to dance on stage with Dosanjh at sold-out BC Place during a performance of the song “Vibe,” in front of close to 50,000 fans.

In 2021, there were several Surrey connections for the ‘Umbrella’ hit song by Dosanjh.

This year, other Canadian concert dates for Dosanjh are April 30 in Calgary, May 2 in Edmonton, May 7 in Winnipeg and May 31 in Toronto.

Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium has several concerts on the calendar for 2026, more than usual.

Taylor Swift-level ticket demand means Bruno Mars will be playing four times at B.C.’s largest stadium this fall, setting a record for most concerts at BC Place on a single tour. Show dates are Oct. 15, 16, 17 and 20. Tickets are sold on BrunoMars.com for the “Romantic Tour,” the performer’s first headline tour in nearly a decade, following his 24K Magic dates in 2017.

This year BC Place Stadium will rock with Guns N’ Roses on Aug. 29, AC/DC on Aug. 13 and Foo Fighters on Sept. 20 with Queens of the Stone Age opening. Also announced by Live Nation is an Aug. 28 concert by multi-platinum Vermont singer-songwriter Noah Kahan on his Great Divide stadium tour.
