Vancouver Rise FC unveils 2026 season schedule as defending champions

The defending Northern Super League champions, the Vancouver Rise FC, released its schedule for the 2026 season on Thursday (Feb. 5), with the first home match against AFC Toronto.

The last time the two teams faced off was in the Northern Super League championship match, which Rise FC won 2-1.

Rise FC sporting director Stephanie Labbé said, “After the inaugural season, which set the bar, I am very excited to continue on last year’s success, not just as a club, but the league as a whole.”

Vancouver Rise are part of Canada’s first professional women’s soccer league, the Northern Super League, which had its first season in 2025. The other clubs are Calgary Wild FC, Halifax Tides FC, Montréal Roses, Ottawa Rapid FC and AFC Toronto.

This year’s schedule includes 13 home games and 12 away games, with most home games played on Saturday or Sunday.

Two of the home games will take place during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Vancouver.

Labbé said, “Having two matches at home during the World Cup will provide an opportunity for travelling fans to experience Swangard and Canadian Women’s Pro Soccer at its best. I’m positive our team and supporters, including the Crow Collective, will show the world exactly what Rise FC is all about.”
