Steve Faber Steve, age 56, passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2026 with his wife by his side. He was born on March 13th, 1969 in Maple Ridge. Steve is predeceased by his parents, William & Joan Faber. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Lisa, brothers Harvey (Deborah), Don (Darlene); one niece Alyssa, and four nephews Cameron, Brendan, David and Ethan (Golden). Steve was compassionate and loving; people were drawn to his kind and caring nature. He had a gift relating and empathizing with everyone he had the pleasure of meeting. His sense of humour and quick wit brought lots of laughs and joy to so many. Steve enjoyed listening to music, stimulating conversation over a coffee, crossword puzzles and watching a good action or sci-fi movie. He also had a soft spot in his heart for animals, especially all of the cats he had over the years. Steve’s laugh and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by his devoted wife and extended family and friends. A memorial celebrating Steve’s life will be held on Saturday, February 21st, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel located on 216th St. A gathering will be held on site following the service.
