PUBLIC NOTICE: COUNCIL CONSIDERATION OF TEMPORARY USE PERMIT 2025-196-CU

NOTICE is hereby given pursuant to section 494 of the Local Government Act, that City of Maple Ridge Municipal Council will consider issuance of Temporary Use Permit 2025-196-CU.

In addition to the above, NOTICE is given pursuant to s. 94 of the Community Charter that the following Temporary Use Permit will be considered for issuance at the Regular Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, starting at 7:00 pm in Council Chambers at 11995 Haney Place.

APPLICATION NO.: 2025-196-CU

LEGAL: Lot 2 Section 14 Township 12 New Westminster District Plan 4247

LOCATION: 11781 256 Street

EXISTING ZONING: RS-3 (Single Detached Rural Residential)

PURPOSE: To allow the temporary use of an accessory Commercial Kennel for a period of 3 years. The proposed Permit and associated documents may be inspected at the Planning and Building Counter at Municipal Hall from January 30, 2026 to February 10, 2026 (8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays).
