A young man in Maple Ridge will be able to buy himself a home, after winning an eSlots prize of more than $117,000 earlier this month.
Tyson W. announced he has a nice down payment on a new house, after playing and winning Thundering Gorilla slots on PlayNow.com back on Jan. 16.
“I couldn’t believe it, I was at home playing and actually dropped my phone,” Tyson said.
“When the win was still there when I picked the phone back up, I started getting excited.”
He first told his mom of the $117,395.30 windfall, and she couldn’t believe it either.
He plans on celebrating with a nice dinner with his parents the next time they visit.
In the meantime, he’s still in a little bit of shock, but now doing some preliminary shopping for a new abode.
“I’ll be able to buy my own place,” he reiterated.
