Missing woman last seen in Kamloops believed to be in Lower Mainland

Kamloops RCMP is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing person who hasn’t been heard from in nearly three weeks.

Gail Letain was last heard from on Nov. 29. She was reported missing on Dec. 3 and investigators believe she travelled to the Lower Mainland on a bus with a ticket she purchased, but police have not been able to locate her.

Letain is known to frequent the Vancouver area, though she was last seen in Kamloops.

Gail Letain is described as a 58-year-old white woman standing five-foot-four and weighing 122 pounds with grey hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a pink hoodie, black jacket, black shoes and glasses.

Anyone who has seen Letain or has any information regarding her whereabouts is urged to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
