The Kelowna Curling Club had a crazy 2025 with two ‘rocking’ events.
In March, the club hosted the Montana Brier. The event was last seen in the city in 1968.
Closing out the year, the World Curling Olympic Qualifiers took over the club for two weeks, from Dec. 5 to 18. Club Manager Jock Tyre said it’s the first time the qualifiers have been held outside of Europe.
“We feel very fortunate to have the curling world paying attention to Kelowna, and Kelowna paying attention to the curling world,” Tyre said.
