All Elite Wrestling announces pay-per-view show for Vancouver

All Elite Wrestling has announced its return to Vancouver.

The company revealed that the pay-per-view spectacular known as Dynasty will emanate from Rogers Arena on Sunday, April 12.

This marks the second time that AEW has performed in Vancouver, as the AEW Collision television show occurred inside Rogers Arena on May 11, 2024.

Tickets for the event are set to go on sale on Monday, Dec. 22 at 10 a.m.

AEW is regarded as a challenger brand in the world of professional wrestling and formed in 2019. They quickly earned a television deal with Warner Bros. Discovery to air the weekly Dynamite show and programming in the United States can be now viewed on TBS and TNT. AEW and WBD re-upped on a multi-year multimedia rights deal in 2o24.

TSN has carried Dynamite in Canada since its inception in Oct. 2019 and Collision can now be seen on USA Network Canada. Dynamite regularly airs on Wednesday’s, while Collision is on Saturday’s.

AEW previously held Canadian pay-per-view shows in Toronto on two – once in June 2023 and this past September.

Some of the top stars on the brand include: Samoa Joe, Kazuchika Okada, Mercedes Mone, Will Ospreay, Adam Page, Maxwell Jacon Friedman, Swerve Strickland, Toni Storm and Jon Moxley.

North Delta Senior Secondary grad Kyle O’Reilly is another top star in AEW and he headlined the previous Collision show in Vancouver against Adam Copeland. O’Reilly worked the independent scene in Vancouver for several years before making it big south of the border. He signed with AEW in 2021 after several years in the WWE system.

Other notable Canadian talents currently on the roster consist of: Chris Jericho, Christian Cage, Josh Alexander, Kenny Omega, Mike Bailey and Taya Valkyrie.
