Help cram the cruiser at Pitt Meadows event

Ridge Meadows RCMP are asking the public to help them help those in need this holiday season by cramming their cruiser for the local food bank.

On Saturday, Nov. 29, they will be holding a Cram The Cruiser event outside the Real Canadian Superstore at Meadowtown Centre.

Officers will be collecting non-perishable food and monetary donations in support of the Friends In Need Food Bank.

Evan Seal, food bank general manager, said the need is huge this year, as the number of people who use their services continues to grow, while, this year, donations from other events have been down compared to previous years.

The event will run from 10-2 p.m. at 19800 Lougheed Hwy., Pitt Meadows, at Golden Ears Way.
