Whitecaps FC will host a Western Conference semifinal match Saturday, Nov. 22 at BC Place Stadium, against either Los Angeles FC or Austin FC, after beating FC Dallas on Saturday night (Nov. 1) to win a Best-of-3 playoff series.
Ralph Priso scored his first goal of the season late to tie Game 2, which ended with the Whitecaps winning in a shootout at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
Vancouver was behind 1-0 for much of the game in Texas until Priso scored his third career MLS goal. He became the 21st player to net one for the Caps in MLS play this season, a new league record.
For Dallas, Petar Musa opened scoring in the 25th minute in front of only 11,004 fans.
This is the third time Whitecaps have reached the MLS Western Conference semifinal stage, and will now look to reach conference final for the first time in club history.

The conference semifinal moves to a single-match knockout through to MLS Cup. Tickets for the Nov. 22 game in Vancouver go on sale Sunday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m., on ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps.
Saturday, the Whitecaps hosted a “playoff watch party” at Good Co. on Granville Street.
During Game 1 in Vancouver Oct. 26, a record crowd of 32,066 watched the Whitecaps power their way to a 3-0 win over Dallas, with goals from Daniel Ríos, Thomas Müller (penalty kick) and Kenji Cabrera. The victory saw the Whitecaps become only the second team in league history to hold its opponent to zero shots in an MLS Cup Playoffs match.
