A survey is underway that offers residents an opportuunity to let Maple Ridge City Hall know how it’s doing.
The city conducts community surveys periodically to better understand resident priorities and satisfaction levels, helping to align planning and budget decisions with public expectations. The citizen satisfaction survey is offered every two years to track trends and measure progress over time.
The city is inviting residents to participate in the 2025 survey. It is being conducted by Earnscliffe Strategies and Leger on behalf of the city, and the survey gathers feedback from residents on key issues and priorities to help inform municipal decision-making.
The survey will be open until Nov. 24.
Participants will be asked about their experiences and opinions on a range of topics, including satisfaction with city services, quality of life, and local priorities such as infrastructure, transportation, and community amenities.
Anyone who lives in Maple Ridge is invited to take part, and it is open to all residents aged 18 and older. The survey is designed to capture a broad and representative range of community perspectives.
The survey can be completed online at Engage.MapleRidge.ca/2025CommunitySurvey.
It takes about 15 minutes to complete and can be filled out from any device.
The results of the survey will help the city better understand resident satisfaction and community key issues and priorities. Feedback will be used to inform business planning, major project delivery, annual budget communications and public engagement strategies. Key findings will be shared publicly once the survey analysis is complete.
Participation is voluntary and confidential. No personal or financial information will be collected. Demographic questions, such as age range or neighbourhood, are asked only to ensure responses reflect the diversity of city residents.
If you have questions, contact Earnscliffe Strategies at info@earnscliffe.ca.
Leger, a professional research firm, has been contracted by the city under Earnscliffe’s direction to undertake the survey and ensure data integrity.
