Alberta man sentenced to life in prison for killing B.C. man in 2018

An Alberta man who killed a man in Chilliwack in 2018 has been sentenced to life in prison. Harry Christensen pleaded guilty to second-degree murder on March 26, 2025, for killing 27-year-old Kyle Cromarty. The B.C. Prosecution Service confirmed with The Progress that Christensen was sentenced on Nov. 25 in B.C. Supreme Court in Chilliwack.
