Population growth slowing down in Central Okanagan: Statistics Canada

The Central Okanagan saw its lowest population growth this decade in 2025. According to the latest population numbers from Statistics Canada, as of July 1, 2025, the greater Kelowna population — which includes West Kelowna, Peachland, and Lake Country — rose by 1.2 per cent to 254,605 people in 2025 compared to 251,648 in 2024.
